DESCRIPTION:ProKids is a nonprofit agency that recruits\, trains and supports community volunteers to speak up for foster children in Hamilton County. Since 1981\, ProKids has been dedicated to helping abused and neglected children find a safe\, permanent and nurturing home\, and for the last two decades\, 99% of those children have remained free from abuse and neglect while under ProKids’ care. \nThe Cincinnati Bar Association Young Lawyer Section is proud to partner with ProKids to host the annual Superhero Run for Kids: a 5K run through downtown Cincinnati and family-friendly after-party benefitting ProKids and the children they serve. Over the last 23 years\, the Run for Kids has raised more than $300\,000 in support of ProKids’ mission. \n
