Essential Responsibilities:
- Interact directly with young people during the after-school program hours, providing homework help, tutoring, and mentoring support.
- Support older youth in college and career exploration, including research, applications, and financial aid processes.

- With the other Member, and guidance from the program staff, establish data collection tools, timelines, and evaluation plans.
- Conduct or facilitate data collection and program feedback activities, including pre/post surveys, 1:1 participant interviews, focus group conversations, and more.
- Recruit, orient, and support high-school and adult volunteers who support youth programming.
- Conduct marketing, communications, social media, and in-person outreach to recruit community members for program participation.
- Complete a minimum of 1,500 hours of service, serving through June 24, 2023.
- Attend a minimum of 6 Commonwealth Corps trainings and service events held by MSA post orientation.
- Participate in a minimum of 1 hour of MSA-related activities each week. This may include filling out timesheets, completing a bi-monthly reflection or check-in, or other MSA-related tasks or activities.
Marginal Responsibilities:
- Be a part of the greater Commonwealth Corps community, including participating in cross-site learning groups, writing a short profile for the CC newsletter, connecting with other members on our online platforms, and attending optional social/service events.
- Identify and execute ways to share youth program impact with the community.
- Support development and communication efforts to attract donors for CMAA’s youth program.
