Essential Responsibilities:
- Mentor and support a cohort of 15 Middle School students through advising and 1:1 relationship building during school day and After School hours.
- Implement the MyCAP academic and career planning process; training provided.
- Coordinate service-learning opportunity and hours tracking for students throughout the year, including a service-learning capstone.
- Recruit volunteers and partners to provide workshops and presentations on different career pathways and other areas of interest.

- Coordinate regular communication with families so that parents understand pathway options for students.
- Document academic/career planning program for sustainable implementation.
- Facilitate study or skills groups for needed academic support.
- Complete a minimum of 1,500 hours of service, serving through June 24, 2023.
- Attend a minimum of 6 Commonwealth Corps trainings and service events held by MSA post orientation.
- Participate in a minimum of 1 hour of MSA-related activities each week. This may include filling out timesheets, completing a bi-monthly reflection or check-in, or other MSA-related tasks or activities.
Marginal Responsibilities:
- Attend team, all-staff, and relevant professional development meetings.
- Be a part of the greater Commonwealth Corps community, including participating in cross-site learning groups, writing a short profile for the CC newsletter, connecting with other members on our online platforms, and attending optional social/service events.
