Child Focus, a primary provider of early learning, mental health and foster care is looking for a committed, reliable long term volunteer to greet staff and guests at our busy corporate office and sign for mail. (Days and hours are Monday through Friday from 10am-2pm at our Mt. Carmel facility.)

Assist with ESOL, job readiness and mass transit instruction. Assist with home set up, warehouse support, computer labs, community support and orientation, and World Refugee Day.

Help make copies, put packets together, along with a variety of other administrative duties. This volunteer opportunity does not involve working directly with children; but this administrative assistance allows our specialists to better serve the child care providers who do offer care to children every day.

We are running a National Fitness Challenge at several of our Clubs. This event includes different activity stations that our Club members will rotate through. We are looking for a volunteer group to help our kids rotate from station to station!

Work with children, ages 5-10, either one-on-one or in small groups of 2-3 children to improve their literacy skills.

Serve as a camp buddy for kids, teens and young adults in our summer day camps at our Given campus. Be a camp companion for our Overnight Camp guests at our Allyn Campus.

This is a team-building opportunity for corporate, work groups, church, temple or community groups to help with sorting and various facilities projects.

HEMI provides quality programming for our mentors and mentees throughout the year. These events and programs require dedicated individuals who can help create and implement relevant and engaging content. Serve on the Scholarship Committee, help prepare for our Scholars Dinner, assist with our Health & Wellness Fair, plan the End of Year Celebration or contribute…

Foster youth are often academically under-prepared and/or behind their peers and just require a little additional support for school success. Tutoring with HEMI is extremely flexible and provides an invaluable service for our youth.

HEMI is always seeking new audiences to spread the word about our program and how members of our community can support the program. Host an information session at work, or your place of worship, or with your friends and family and help us find long-term adult supporters for Hamilton County foster youth.
