One-to-one mentoring with a student in grades 2-12, or College freshmen mentoring for 1 year to encourage a successful year.
Assist in preparing and serving meals, food pick-up and delivery (van or truck needed sometimes), and/or restock/organize food pantry.
Become a mentor or a reading buddy. (This opportunity does require a background check)
Bake cakes, create birthday bags, handyman/building maintenance, event leadership and volunteer support, organize a canned food drive, and/or data entry and computer lab.
Volunteer opportunities range from yard work to babysitting.
Help with adaptive recreational riding classes & hippotherapy
Help by being a side walker in an adaptive recreational riding classes & hippotherapy
Prepare and serve dinner at the shelters Monday through Thursday in Fairmount or Bond Hill. Volunteers can cook dinner at home and heat it upon arrival or cook in our fully equipped kitchens.
Play games, read books, do a variety of arts & crafts or supervise outdoor play.
Work directly with clients including: crisis calls, transportation, shelter and court coverage
