HamiltonCARES is a program that helps those in need, including the elderly and disabled, by helping maintain their property. Volunteers assist by mowing, trimming shrubs and doing other general clean up around the recipient’s home.

The Adopt a Park program is where a company, group of individuals, or other organizations agree to clean up a park six or more times a year. Groups who adopt a park will get signage placed at the park that they have adopted and will have access to safety vests, trash bags, and gloves.
No special experience or knowledge is required. All our volunteers are trained to understand courtroom procedure, social services, the juvenile justice system and the special needs of children who have been abused and neglected. Your training with National Underground Railroad Freedom Center staff and adult docents will prepare them to serve as volunteers throughout the museum’s permanent exhibits and in the community.
You interact with our guests to make them feel welcome and appreciated. We like to know where are guests are from, why they’re here, and what their interested in seeing at our museum.
You can help create an excellent visitor experiences for guests through dialogue, interactive activities, and collaborative learning. Assist with K-12 tours, adult tours and exhibit interpretation for special events.
