Greet members at front desk, oversee sign in sheets, interact with patrons and members, introduce new people to gym and sign them up for membership. Help with Gym maintenance and clean and act as information desk.

Help organize and sort baby blessing bag donations.

Support out annual events – help plan, communicate, set up, decorate, clean up, make crafts or find sponsors for our annual fundraiser events and our annual open house/craft show

Property maintenance and improvement projects large and small – volunteers have built picnic shelters, assembled greenhouses, cleared hiking trails in the woods, made new hiking trails, painted, repaired fencing, cleared brush along fences, planted trees, improved drainage

Support social events – decorate, cook, serve food, play music, and dance with residences at our many social events, including monthly birthday dances and holiday picnics and celebrations. No holiday is too small — we like to celebrate them all!

Assist riders in our equestrian program (no riding experience necessary)

Write an article for our Spring or Fall newsletter or help keep our website and Facebook pages up to date.

Volunteers help with the planning, construction, and utilization of special highlight areas throughout the Arboretum, assist with the planning or implementation of events and programs, or volunteers who have backgrounds in education or horticulture help the Arboretum staff in our classes and tours.

Volunteer to give mock interviews so people can practice and refine their skills in getting a job.
