You will accompany staff as they talk to youth on the streets; distributing food, hygiene supplies, and harm reduction supplies. Your primary responsibility will be to support staff on outreach.
Volunteers provide meals to youth at the Lighthouse Sheakley Center for Youth, the homeless shelter, and at the Mecum House. Meals can be made at home and dropped off or cooked in our kitchen.
Lend a helping hand to our instructors with performing arts classes.
Hold a dress drive with your school, church, friends and family. Ask peers to donate gently used formal dresses and accessories.
Assist with PR/Media, Recruiting rewards, volunteer coordination, fundraising and chair person.
Help run the club in your particular school.
Volunteer groups provide home-cooked meals, lunch, or dinner for our 20 clients, and are always greatly appreciated.
Hold drives to gather items our clients need, and bring them to the center.
Work with and empower our Associates as part of our Production Program.
Teach valuable lessons in our Life Skills Program.
