Potential projects are varied, but some of the most common include: painting and repairing Head Start and Neighborhood Centers, building playgrounds, conducting food drives, organizing a Christmas, Thanksgiving or Back-to-School donation drive, and more.

FamiliesFORWARD is always in search of volunteer tutors who would enjoy working one-on-one or in small groups with students. Companies, college students, and others are all welcome to give their time to help students who are struggling to understand reading, math and other learning concepts.

Students work in a clinical setting and assist physicians, nurses and administrators who are able to share their perspective through mentorship and clinical training. ​This is a year-long commitment consisting of one or more shifts, totaling 8 hours per week.

Assist with either Answers in Genesis, the Creation Museum, or the Ark Encounter.

Work with our animals, either at the shelter, at off-site events, or on one of our committees. Note, 14-17 yr olds must be accompanied with parent or guardian.
