I AM ME is a youth symposium aimed at empowering youth by building their confidence and resilience to embracing who they are through meaningful workshops and by connecting youth and their families with community resources. I AM ME was started on the premise of two organizations, Behind Every Great Kid and Guiding Light Mentoring, who work with youth in the community who are underserved, have low self-esteem and are seeking approval and acceptance from society.

These nonprofit organizations are working together for one goal; IMPACTING THE LIVES OF OUR YOUTH AND COMMUNITIES. The I AM ME Youth Symposium will offer youth workshops, a panel discussion, resource fair, keynote speaker, food, music and giveaways. Our goal is to take a holistic approach when working with youth and their families to improve outcomes.
