Description

At James L. McKeown Boys & Girls Club of Woburn (Club), the SCI AmeriCorps member will:

●  Participate fully in all SCI AmeriCorps orientations and trainings
●  Help realize Club’s mission to inspire youth to find their greatness
●  Expand and provide the service opportunities of Club through direct youth programming, activities and organizational projects
●  Collaborate on how Club recruits, trains, onboards and offers opportunities to volunteers allowing for greater engagement and support of special events, programming, etc.
●  Complete a Social Capital Youth Project for Club’s youth enrichment programming

Living allowanceReceive a Taxable Stipend up to $23,000/year, paid bi-weekly

Desired skills, certifications or qualifications

●  Able to commit to Full-Time service in local communities with diverse residents
●  Effective communication skills to conduct community outreach (written and verbal)
●  Strong work ethic, collaboration, and time management skills
●  Availability to serve in-person for some or all service activities
