Description

At Social Capital Inc. (SCI), the SCI AmeriCorps member will:

●  Participate fully in all SCI AmeriCorps orientations and trainings
●  Assist the continuing development and maintenance of SCI’s volunteer management systems and associated data collection processes
●  Collaborate with SCI staff on volunteer engagement systems, processes, and communication
●  Support the ongoing development and implementation of SCI’s youth-oriented programs (e.g. Teen VEAP (Vaccine Equity) and the Youth Grant Pitch Contest)
●  Collaborate with the SCI Deputy Director to explore and build partnerships for community and youth-focused programming with regional stakeholders including SCI AmeriCorps Host Sites and foundational donors
●  Complete a Social Capital Youth Project in partnership with the SCI Woburn AmeriCorps member to champion youth enrichment programming

Living allowance Receive a Taxable Stipend up to $23,000/year, paid bi-weekly

Desired skills, certifications or qualifications

●  Able to commit to Full-Time service in local communities with diverse residents
●  Effective communication skills to conduct community outreach (written and verbal)
●  Strong work ethic, collaboration, and time management skills
●  Availability to serve in-person for some or all service activities
●  Bilingual in Spanish, Portuguese or Haitian Creole is a plus
