Our Neighbors Empowered Program provides on-site child supervision in our Children’s Playroom once a week for 2.5 hours during a group workshop. Individuals pick up and serve food and beverages. Most importantly they provide a warm welcome to all those attending grief support groups.

Individuals assist with events (set up, material prep, clean up, etc.) such as the Summertime Classic golf event that benefits programming at Fernside.

Individuals co-lead a support group in our evening program. They help create a caring environment in which group members share their stories, feelings and memories and discuss how to cope with challenges in their lives.

Individuals provide help with preparation of materials for use in our support groups.
