Support business at the local, state, and federal levels of government and to establish a strong collective voice for the business community through research and development of new initiatives.
The Women in Leadership is the Chamber’s largest committee. The goal of the committee is to bring professional women together in a monthly meeting for networking and business education. The committee hosts an annual evening of networking dinner and scholarships for mature women continuing their education to further their career goals.
Help plan and execute quarterly marketing roundtable events as well as other major events throughout the year. Provide support for other businesses in the community looking to expand their marketing efforts.
Help plan and execute the annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Banquet that recognizes local police and law enforcement officials for all their hard work throughout the year.
Plans and executes the annual Pacesetter Awards Dinner that honors three outstanding community and business members each year.
Volunteers assist with reading and playing games with the special needs children (6 weeks to 5th grade), helping with art activities, and helping during gym and outdoor activities during the listed morning and afternoon hours.
Assist with office duties, preparing learning aids, toy and equipment preparation, making games, organizing cabinets and materials.
Assist with the organization, promotion, and set up/tear down of events. Help a little or help a lot – every little bit counts!
Individuals pick up and serve food and beverages. Most importantly they provide a warm welcome to all those attending grief support groups.
Individuals assist with events (set up, material prep, clean up, etc.) such as the Summertime Classic golf event that benefits programming at Fernside.
